Tying It All Up!

A big thank you to all the boys who made it to scouts on a Wednesday night! We know it was a last minute change and appreciate everyone being flexible with us:) Sis. Meeker is pulling double duty right now with her second calling as our ward Girl's Camp Director so we may have a few more switcheroos because of her other mandatory meetings:) Thanks again for being flexible:)

Tonight's meeting was the TOUGHEST one we've had thus far!!! We knew that this would be extremely time consuming and confusing so we called in an expert for the night--Bro. Meeker!!! We were SURE glad he was willing to come and work with the boys and he did such an excellent job teaching them!!! Make sure to ask your boys to show you the knots they learned with their ropes that they were given to take home!!!

Tall Tales!!!

At our pack meeting this week we worked on the boys' "Tall Tales" requirement. We sure had a great time re-telling these really cool stories and legends--some true some not. Some of the stories included Big Foot, Icabod Crane, Pecos Bill, and Davey Crockett. We had a map of the United States that showed approximately where the stories took place and then played a fun match-up game to make sure the boys were listening.:)

We ended the evening with a super fun game of basketball in the gym--the boys had sat still for LONG enough!!! Good times:)

January Pack Meeting

Due to the field trip to the nursing home AND the holidays, this was a pretty low-key pack meeting. However! We are super proud of our boys Phoenix and Liam each earning a red bead for their awesome scout uniforms:) Way to go guys!
