Litter Patrol:)

Well to finish up requirement 7 we met at the church to talk about ways that we can make our earth a better place.  The boys all had such great ideas and had great stories to go along with our theme.  After all the "boring" talking stuff, we met up with the Bear den again to go and put our words into action!  We broke up into 4 teams and went and picked up litter all around the Grove church building.  As you can imagine, not a whole lot of trash but the boys sure had fun doing it!  So if you see a scout at church next week, give them a high-five for making our church building area a litter nicer:)

Recycle Plant Tour!!!

Okay...so it's NOT really called "The Recycle Plant" but I can't remember the proper name of it:)  Ask your boys--they should:)

We had the Bear den join us on this trip so we had 20 boys in all!!!  That was a ton of boys and ALL of them were sooo well-behaved!!!  Even our guide, Tracy, mentioned to me at the end of the tour how amazing and respectful the boys were!  So BIG pat on the back to all you AMAZING moms out there raising these amazing boys.  I know I sure learned a lot today.  Hopefully your boys have educated your families on living "greener:)"

Apparently one of the scouts got my camera:)

Blue and Gold Breakfast and Cub Car Races!

We had a fun morning at our Blue and Gold Breakfast and Cub Car Races! The Deacons Quorum cooked a yummy pancake breakfast.  We decided to move it indoors because it was pretty cold outside!

Blue & Gold celebrates the anniversary of scouting, so Brother Williams told us a bit about the history of the scouting program.
The Wolves were in charge of the outdoor flag ceremony and did a great job!
Then it was race rime!

Congratulations to our den's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners (for distance)!
Braxton - 1st
Jarin - 2nd
Andrew - 3rd
