Ultimate Frisbee & Marbles Belt Loops

We only had 5 boys at our den meeting (and they were VERY lively because it was the night before spring break!), but we had a good time.
Sister Meeker taught the boys Ultimate Frisbee so they could earn their frisbee belt loop.The boys loved it and had lots of fun. Anytime they can run & be competitive is what they enjoy best!
Liam was our frisbee superstar - that boy can throw and catch!
Sister Park attempted to do the marbles belt loop, but we quickly learned that all the sidewalks around the church are sloped towards the parking lot which makes playing marbles very challenging! So we'll have to figure out a different plan for that and do it another time.

Congratulations to Cordry, Brandon, Liam, Ethan, and J.D. on earning a belt loop - it will be awarded at our April Pack Meeting!

Pinewood Derby

Saturday was our Pinewood Derby! The boys were so excited about making and racing their cars!
Our pack had 23 cars! They were each so unique and colorful.
The boys raced 6 times (1 time on each lane), for a total of 23 heats.
The races were thrilling for those whose cars did well, somewhat disappointing for others whose cars weren't so fast, but it was always entertaining!
Each boy received a certificate and a candy bar as a reward for a great job!
